Summer Reading Plans 2022!
Hello readers! Today I am going to be doing a chattier post about my summer reading plans. I am still in school, so I have two glorious months of freedom! I of course have a few camps and plans with friends, but besides that, I'm free to knock out my TBR!
Let's get into the plans...
Goals
So! I have an extremely ambitious goal for this summer. That is, to read 20 books this summer. I know you are probably like; Opal are you out of your mind?? Yes, but I have so many books that I want to read that I think I have the motivation to read that many. I haven't picked out any specific books to read yet, I am going to let my TBR jar decide that!

Readathons
The best and unrivaled way to knock out your TBR and meet reading goals is to have readathons! They can be 12, 24, or even 48 hours! I personally go for 24 hours, as it seems to give me time to finish the most books and doesn't ruin my sleep schedule too much. I plan to have 3-4 this summer because I finish 2-3 books each, which will definitely help me reach my goals. I will also be vlogging every readathon I do this summer on my Pinterest account and encourage you to do them with me!

Books I Want to Read
Even though I don't have an exact TBR for the entire summer, I do have a few books I would like to read. First things first, I would like to reread The Song of Achilles which is one of my favorite books!! I also want to read She Gets The Girl in June specifically because it is LGBTQ pride month! Additionally, I desperately want to read The Cruel Prince series and the Shadow and Bone series. Hopefully, I will be able to get to all of these this summer!
