What It's About...
78-year-old bachelor and socially awkward Len Holder a failed author who works as an insurance claims adjuster by day is in for a big surprise when his mother Sharon shows up alive one morning in her house (which he of course still lives in) after having been dead for 7
The Seven Day Resurrection by Chevron Ross is a compelling Christian contemporary novel that fascinated me from the first page. There were times when I got a little bit lost with what was happening but after a few more pages it all started to make sense again. This is such an influential read. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect before I started to read this book, as it is not the type of book I normally pick up, but I was pleasantly surprised. Ross created a story that somehow balances the incredible with reality. I quickly found myself lost in the pages. At times, I could swear I was standing in Len's living room, watching the story take place. Along with the main story, we got to see Len's writing, and these were just as well written as the book inside. Lovers of both literary and Christian fiction will enjoy this book, which seamlessly blends genres and keeps you reading for hours. I loved this!
